The Olympic games are officially over, and I must say that it was a pretty good 17 days. I really enjoyed watching the athletes that participated in the London Olympics. I know that they trained for years just for that moment, so I take my hat off to every athlete that made it to the Olympics. There are no losers at the Olympics because losers don't make it that far.
Only dedicated individuals can make it to the Olympics; only people that really are devoted to succeed make it to the Olympics. So, even if an athlete came in last place; in my eyes they're still not a loser because losers don't get to the Olympics. Hard work and dedication get you there. Lolo Jones you can do it, and hopefully you'll get your medal in Rio.
Now the closing ceremony was pretty good; I enjoyed it (but nothing amount to Beijing in my honest opinion). I like how they performed a lot of songs from British artist, and basically displayed everything dealing with British culture; that was pretty cool. Overall everything was smooth, and the closing ceremony was orchestrated well. London was a great host, and now we'll see how Rio will be. So, see you in four years (I'm pretty sure Rio will be just as good). Oh yeah, and having John Lennon on the screen singing "Imagine" at the closing ceremony was brilliant. That song was very appropriate because it fit the moment perfectly!
