I've come to believe that a broken heart is a major part of life. Sometimes by attaching yourself too close to someone; whether it's emotionally, or physically, you're opening yourself up to them. By opening up yourself; you're allowing yourself to probably get hurt. Some people like to get emotionally attached to others and this can be unhealthy.
The reason why it can be unhealthy is because you're really allowing a person to know another side of you that usually you wouldn't let others see. If, they choose to just do you wrong out of no where then you can be hurt emotionally. I know what it feels like, and it isn't something that feels too great. I think that some of us are quick to let people in, and accept certain individuals in our lives that shouldn't be in it. Heartbreak is very real because it's an emotion that you'll feel, and it'll make you feel depressed.
Letting others in sometimes can be good, but at times I think that it's best to keep some individuals at a distance. The feeling of heartbreak is one of those emotions that will temporarily paralyze you. When I say it'll temporarily paralyze you; what I mean is that once you feel heartbreak it will be hard to eat, sleep, or do anything that is productive.
