In life people can get distracted because we're always busy doing something. Depending on where a person might live; you might be in a face paced city, or in some small town. No matter where you may come from everyone wants to always improve their life. I know that everyone wants to advance, and they don't want to be held back.
Sometimes it can be the crowd that you hang around that might be holding you back; then again it can be your own negative thoughts. Negative thoughts will hold you back and you might not even be aware that it is. If, you ever had any form of self doubt then that was a negative thought that you used to hold you back. Keeping everything positive can sometimes be hard because as human beings we all have those times when we think a little negatively.
A good way to clear this up is by using some solid meditation. I meditate everyday for at least five minutes a day, and most of the times I do it in the morning before I go out and start my day. I find this very productive and it already gets my mind in a state that completely calms me, and it also gets me ready for the day ahead. Preparing for the day is always a great thing because even though the day might be unplanned, and you're not aware of what might happen it's always good to start the day with the right frame of mind.
Here is a quick and simple meditation exercise that you can do. This will truly get your mind in a great place.
First close your eyes then relax completely. I mean just make sure you're muscles are all relaxed and you're not tense. You have to make sure you control your breathing, and make sure you focus your mind. Think about whatever you want to think about that best soothes you. At first I would just picture walking on a beach; as you meditate envision the feel of the sand that's beneath your feet. You'll feel your whole body falling into your meditation because you will actually visualize yourself on the beach so well that you'll actually become a person that will fall completely under your meditation. This will be the first of many exercises but this is a very good start, and even if this isn't your first time meditating this will still relax you in many ways. There won't be anything else on your mind after you're done doing this because your mind will be free at the moment, and you won't worry about any fear or nothing for the day.
